Are BOTH banks LTFTs "way out there" or is it just the side with the bad O2. Can you quantify "way out there". I think that was a term that Maynard G. Krebs used to use, but that was before OBDII. "Way out there" isn't quite specific enough. How about a VDC or a number like -7 or +10. 14.6 is a close to correct stoich as you can be without being spot on.

my ltft's were about +7 range anyways i riched up my car with a maft and it seems to idle better but that doesn't fix my o2 problem on right front it's a new sensor from gm. as soon as it go's into a closed loop i shows faulty that's were my problem is. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

14.7:1 is stoicheometric ratio. Optimum and what is perfect for all driving situations other then at WOT. Being 14.6:1 is right there!

What is the code. There are many O2 sensor codes for our cars, so it could be any of them.

If your using a PCM scanner that complies to EPA/SAE it should have a O2 test. From that you could tell if B2 mirrors B1(s1s) values.

Also via PCM scanner are the fuel trim values of B1 and B2 about the same and same for injector pulse width values ?
Have you reset PCM by leaving power off for some period to see if that would clear the problem up ?

Is B2S1 always reporting the biased 0.450 mVolts or is it switching across 0 volts ?

Use PCM scanner I/M smog tests and see who is getting into a complete state or not.
Not sure where you got the AFR value from but if it was a scanner it most likely was the PCM Commanded AFR value, not the true AFR.

Non smog gas stoch is 14.7:1,
smog gas is 14.2:1 since it contains O2 that will get burned and seen in exhaust.

BTW, I went to Glenbard East H.S in mid 1960s.
I started with Dick Portillo when he frst opened a stand off of North Ave in Glendale hgts, if I had stuck it out I'd be as rich as he got :-)
I do miss that Chi-Town food for sure ..
