Default The 383/Phamspeed Build Begins!

well we finally started tearing it all down today.Ill be taking pics along the way.So far the front end is off,the headers and true duals are off,the pump is out of the tank to add the second pump in,we mocked up the crossover and dp.and mocked up the turbo and FMIC as well.I KNOW im gonna hear it,but the fitment on the Phamspeed kit was darn near perfect!the crossover is about a 1/4 inch below the bottom of the tranny and everything fit very nice, including the placement of the turbo once we clocked it a bit.And it seems to be high enough that the gravity feed wont be a problem. My only gripe is that the support bar thats supposed to bolt to the side of the block is too short so ill have to lengthen it.I took some pics of all the parts at the shop,on top of which theres about ~20 empty boxes at my house. And i HAD to take a few pics of my babe outside the shop b4 she underwent surgery.Ill update regularly as i get some time. There ya go fellas.

Heres the updated pictures.I finished up the triple gauge pod, notice the Eboost which isnt supposed to fit, lol. The front end is off the car and we cut the foam support and the FMIC sits nicely inside there. Were going to try to get it far enough back so we can keep the fog lights but we'll have to see. Also got to work on the dual walbros as well to start the fuel system.I think the car looks mean with the headlights up and no front bumper Enjoy.

i'm heading up to Orlando this weekend to pick up my car, if I have time I'll swing by.

You have enough parts to build a new car from the ground up, lol.

you got it,you have to have a feed and a return line for the turbo itself. We got the intake on and TB and setup the rails and 60# injectors,i have to tap 1 of the ends of the rails cause otherwise i wont get even fuel flow But at least my computer got shipped out to Norris on Fri so he can give me a base tune to work with

got some more pics up.i love the way the rails look but i had to tap the end of the 1 rail because they would NOT fit the way they were notched to go,thanks for that SprSpt2000 But the motors coming along nicely....and i hope you guys notice the oil pan picture...thats why i DONT recommend tapping the pan with it still on the car,and there was grease on the tap as well.lol
