I have longtubes on both my z and my ta one has 16" wheels the other has 17" wheels and neither have been lowered but they both can be a bitch in parking lots with good size speed bumps and they both drag the tubes when I go down into my driveway so I'd be pretty leary with a lowered car.

lower cars + Long tubes = A pain that will bot go away

That being said my car is lowered about an inch with Long tubes. I had to raise it 1 1/2 inches

I heard Kooks have the best ground ground clearance.. My car is lowered and I hit my Hooker LTs all the time. Then I get SLP shorties, and now I ordered a set of Kooks (LT and y-pipe).

Shorties are suckssss

My subframe connectors rub and so does my Tranny crossmember. I'm lowered on hotchkis suspension, but i think i'll be fine when my long tubes go on next month.

I've heard that pacesetters are pretty much the best when it comes to ground clearance; thats part of the reason I want to go with them when I have the money. But I'm planning on a 1.3" drop, so I'm sure I'll be screwed with any LT set-up

It's not as bad as you hear. I have pacesetters and Sportlines, didn't wan sportlines in the first place, but somehow I got stuck with them. And they're certain country backroads that give me trouble and parking lots are sometimes disagreeable. But it not enough trouble for me to take them back off and get new ones. Also, this is on stock shocks, which are fairly squishy.
