Default Magnaflows on my LT1 RX-7 (video)

ok, so i finally decided to civilize my RX-7 by putting some mufflers on. i did a little before and after video so you can tell me what you think. i chose magnaflows for their value and because i really hadn't heard anything bad about them. at first i thought it was way to quiet considering i was driving the car with straight pipes since the i got the swap running... but now the tone is starting to grow on me . anyway, please dismiss the lack of traction, the tires will not be 185/60 baldies for much longer!

Before and after Magnas

and i know i've allready posted this burnout... but this is what i did to my tires a few nights before the mufflers .

Helluva Burnout

Before or after the magnaflows, doesn't matter - I like them both. That is the sweetest sound ever to come out of a Mazda.

Sweet burnout

You should relly find a beatter road to burn them down on. That road looks like a tire grinder. nice tar covred blacktop works best. Or the burnout box....

i agree, it did sound better before the magnaflows, BUT it's a heck of a lot more drivable now . however, i am starting to think that some QTP cutouts would give me the best of both worlds . anyway, looking back, the road was an awful one, it was my first burnout ever and i just went out to a random country road to do the cooker. it will be blacktop and involve bleach next time!

IDK, the magnaflows smoothed the sound out real good.

Thats a good running LT1, and a sleeper for sure.... I guess you sure have fun messing around with other street cars in that shell...

Was that straight pipes before? it really doesn't sound that much quieter, but I think I liked it better before... probably less annoying to drive now though...

ya, it was straight pipes to the diff for the first flyby. i do enjoy it's "sleeperness", nobody expects it to be quick when they see the 3 paint colors, broken mirror and no door handle! makes it all that much sweeter to see the look on the sucker mustang owners. i did all the exhaust work myself, here's a few pictures to see the setup:

Very nice. I love the magnaflow tone, however I suggest some cutouts

Is the LT1 stock or modded?
