If you are having it made then the front and rear u-joint will be the same 1350 series.

it will have a new one, it has to be balanced as an assembly.

http://www.pstds.com/driveshafts_101.htm

since I'm getting an all new DS, I'm guess "W" is the dimension I need?

I don't understand why I would measure all the way back on the Diff. though? I would think they would want it to where the rear u-joint ends

oh well i guess lol

Sorry to sound like a sales pitch but I have all types of driveshafts on my website and I already have the lengths jotted down for what axle you are running. Makes it easier to just order than doing what you are doing.

I have them for $345.00 in mild steel that is good for 1000 + hp. As for the u-joints mine are Spicer tripple seals and I have yet to see anyone have a single issue to date. I think Mark Williams has some really nice u-joints but I have always used Spicers in all on my shafts.
