Having my valve springs Cryo Treated! Opinions?
After all the talk about springs this and that breaking... I decided for my 224/224 .581/.581 112 cam I would go with the SDPC/manley springs and send them to my buddy's new cryo shop here in town and get them treated. He sure sweares it will do wonders for them! And i did some research on it and found nothing bad about it at all! Any expierence with this treatment fella's? Its real affordable insurance. His price for the set of springs was $35 Just thought i'd pass it on. If anyone want's more info i can hook you up with him. Ill be installing them in a couple weeks so I can keep you updated. Hope i didnt break any rules since he is not a sponsor to the site. Just trying to help people out. I couldnt find where any sponsor was using this method so i didt feel like I was stepping on toe's. Maybe some sponsors coud hook up with him and help us out on making these springs last with our fast ramp rates.

There is a pretty good write up on the process on this site. It is much more affordable other places though.
http://www.nitrotechusa.com/
Here is a place with better prices:
http://www.moreperformanceinc.com/
Note: I have never done business with either of these places, just came across them in my research.

Derek 357i- Thanks for the help man. But last time i checked
$2.50 a valve spring (more performance) comes out to be $40 a set. I dont think that's to much more affordable than the $35 a set i posted.
The guy i know (Jeb) can also cryo anything you need. His site is not complete yet but his # is on there. www.deepfreezecryo.com Just tell him Tim 98z off ls1tech sent ya.

It is good to see there are more and more places doing this, so hopefully prices for the service will continue to fall. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I forgot about doing this. I'll glad you brought it up. I think I'll do my REV 1116 springs and my new rotors (when I get them that is).
