How does it take this long to realize you may have a problem ?

When you push accel all the way down and it doesn't go back to idle!!!

j/k Maybe there might be wear marks on carpet???

If my accelerator got stuck I think id pull it out of gear before I crashed

I have similar happen with a floor mat getting stuck under the brake pedal.

Yeah you'd think that... I remember on a subie forum reading about a guy with a manual, his throttle got stuck and he went flying through the nieghborhood and ended up jumping a curb, and driving through two peoples back yards, taking out the wood fences and all.

After he posted, everyone was like "Uh... why didn't you just put it in N or push in the clutch..."

if that happened to me id throw it in neutral and turn the car off....but i guess you freak out and forget to react

This actually happend to me as well.

I just cut the carpet around the pedal. Scared the **** out of me!

I'm not taking my car to ford. Screw that. I hate service writers and punk kids that get to "joy" ride in your car.

The throttle stuck on my VW a few times, it's amazing what that clutch pedal can do.

my pedal usually gets stuck to the floor when ever driving, and i arrive to my destination in a prompt manner.
