Default Chatter in a newly installed LS6 clutch?

How long is this supposed to last? I just put this in a few weeks ago, and am coming up on 500 miles or so and was wondering if this will go away soon. I'm beginning to worry that I did something wrong when I put this in.

Sweet! You say that, but I assure you I could have done it. I can't find one of my shoes now....

A clutch will chatter if the disk or flywheel were not clean during install. Any grease on the friction surface on the flywheel or on the pressure plate is not good.

I put in an LS6 clutch in around 500 miles ago and it's been smooth since day one. Also used all new hydraulics. And a new roller pilot.
A worn pilot will cause chatter.

I have the same problem...had a guy rebuild my tranny and reinstall the clutch...still chatters like crazy. I thought the LS6 clutch wouldn't chatter, but it sounds like a damn helicopter is flying under the shifter boot. I think he mentioned that the pilot was torn up, so he put in a new one. It's been less than a year...think I should take it back and get him to fix it for free???

Mine does the same thing, i torqued it down the way the how-to said to do as well. I dont have any clutch slipping issues either, just the chatter.
