clutch problems...time to replace?

clutch problems...time to replace? alright i went out the other night for some races, did some burnouts and power shifted all the races. when we were done with the last run and said bye i put my clutch in and it made a wierd grinding noise. it kinda sounded like something was spinning. is it time for a new clutch or what should i look for?
also, i jus checked my fluid and it is like maybe a 1/2 inch lower then the step mark. would that be enough to make these problems i am seeing? and should i be concerned that the fluid is black???

My clutch is grinding like of like that, it feels like there is something loose and spinning when the clutch pedal is down. I took it into a few shops and they told me it is a bad pilot bearing.
