Honestly, no one on here that I've seen has had much experience in a max effort track only setup as you describe above. The motor will obviously make excellent power, depending on the cam, powerband, and tuning. The chassis dyno numbers may not be great due to the transmission/converter, but it should go down the track pretty well! Without knowing what the heads flow and specific intake, etc, it would be really hard to guess.

LOOKING TO SET SOME RECORDS IN 06
What kinda record you looking to set?????

Yeah I agree with Turbo, hard to tell without head flow #'s, cam specifics..... your compression is cranking... damn 14.5:1???? what are you setting this thing up to do meaning waht is your goal with it ET wise???? are you racing it in a certain class at your track????

just with what you told us here i'd say a few things....

1. Buy earplugs cuz that thing with that much compression is gonna downright crackle out the exhaust

2. I'd say if it don't do over 500RWHP and run low 10's high 9's on motor launch it off a cliff....

3. don't bring that thing to Northern California cuz we might just have to race..... not enuff room in this town for two badass race LT1's...

14.5:1 I assume this is race gas only.

And wow, 5500 stall! I'm guessing this is a track only car also?

And I agree if everything works right it should do 500+ rwhp easily.

Well good luck with it... depends on when you plan on hitting the track .... You got any pictures of this thing???? I'd like to see your current setup. Do a search on my posts cause in the last few weeks i've posted several updated progress pics on my car.... Your car should easily make 600 hp at the flywheel....

what are you doing for ignition, engine management, and fuel system???? I'd like to hear how you are going to get around opti issues.... which is what most diehard LT1 guys deal with at some point or another at our power levels.....

I am runing a aeromotive fuel system a1000 fuel pump an braided lines I also am runing a big stuff 3 dfi which eliminates opti spark and uses ls1 coil per cylin.

Just out of curiousity and to bring this back to see if there are updates ... lets get a rundown of the suspension setup you are going to run with this.
