Red face SES...o2 low volts???

Hi just the other day I punched my 99 t/a and my ses light came on. I immediately took it autozone and they said that both bank 1 sensor 2 and bank to sensor 2 had low volts. I then bought 2 new bosch sensors and then when I punched it again my light came on. If I drive around for awhile my light will usually go back off. But once it came back on I took it back to autozone to see what it could be now. They said it was the same sensors with low voltage...so hmmm???? There new sensors still with low voltage...Does anyone know what this could be???

I'd have the codes read again to be sure they told you the right bank(s)/sensor(s). That's why I asked about the codes - just to doublecheck.

I had it checked twice, it was sensor two in both banks. Thats what kind of confused me...so im just thinking if it keeps acting up im just gonna try to put mil illiminators on the rear when my ses light is off and see if that keeps it off.

It's the rears, just slap in some sims and be done with it, if of course there are no other drivability problems.
If your state doesn't have emissions tests (visual or sniffer) then get rid of the cats, sounds like they are going bad, and aren't cleaning the exhaust like they should

No it will only get rid of the SES light. The rear O2 sensors only tell the pcm whether or not the cats are functioning properly.

Also, is it possible you received two bad O2 sensors? I would take them back and have them replaced under warranty and then go from there.

If you are still f'ing with this try cleaning the MAF with carb cleaner. PM for more details. I have p0137&p0157, cleaned the MAF and it runs like a raped ape.
