Default LS1 style throttle body on an LT1?

Is it possible or has anyone tried changing to the LS1 throttle body on an LT1 car? Looking at the LS1 magnacharger setup made me wonder if you could adapt it to work on an LT1 and use the LS1 throttle body setup.

well the ls1 magancharger wont even line up with the heads so that throws that whole idea out the window.

someone did get a roots style blower to work on an lt1... but they ended up cutting up the factory intake, and somehow bolting the supercharger to it... looked good when he was done.

LS1 Throttle Body is almost square, single blade. The LT1 is a rectangle shape, twin blade. Whole different shape and mounting.

I'm just thinking about the supercharger body not the intake manifold part. But regardless of the supercharger, can the LS1 throttle body be used on the LT1 without computer reprogramming?

I bet some sort of adapter plate could be made, not sure how the throttle linkage would work tho.

In the end the question in my mind would be is it worth the trouble.

I wish! I'm just looking into creating a unique setup that works. I still think a 6-71 with a bug catcher on it sticking through the hood would be sweet! But I don't think that would fit in an F-body!

The LS1 Magnacharger has the round LS1 throttle body connection so why would I want to try and adapt an oval one? I'm not looking for a bigger throttle body, just wanted to know if the LS1 would work. I odn't think there is enough room to realistically do what I was thinking about anyway.

What i was trying to say is that there is a speciality one made by AZ speed and Marine just for the LT1 it flows like 1400 cfm. Just imagine the twin blade style, but rather than two one big oval blade.
