TB cable problem
Just got done putting on an LS6 intake and a Shaner S3 throttle body on a 99 SS Camaro.. everything went smooth and then went to bolt the TB up and hook up the linkage for the throttle.. and the linkage is too tight and hold the TB back instead of being closed.. everything is bolted up right and the bracket holding the throttle linkage in place is all exactly the way it was on my 2000 SS.. why would it be any different for a 99?
someone help us figure this one out.. its confusing..
Thanks

You may also have slack in the pedal-TCS run which is

it to pull full open, at the floorboard).

yea thats what we figured out once we looked at it.. i had no idea that 98-99 were different.. figured with all the research i've done on tech i woulda heard that one before..
But yea how do you adjust that linkage? i was looking at it and couldn't figure it out..
If not i will just swap the "cam" off the 99TB onto the ported/polished 2000 TB.. I'm going to look at my stocker and see if i can figure out how to get it off..
Thanks guys!
