You are good to go with stock heads. You go with some milled AFR's and you will need to FLYCUTT those babies to give the bigger valves a little relief. No pun intended. Have a good Memorial day weekend, I have to work everyday, doing 16 hrs now. Oh well I volunteered for the OT. Later.

Dude, piston slap and the cam you choose are too differnt things.

Honestly, that cam big, but it's probaby compared to what people are putting into their cars these days.

I'd measure just to be sure but you should be fine with stock heads. I loved it for the 250 or so miles I got to drive it before my engine puked (not directly related to the cam swap).

Wow that really sucks. I'm going to be calling sponsors this week to see about getting a forged short block.

I was running a G5X3 on a 114 with stock 241 heads no flycut, just PRC Springs and Hardened Pushrods.Cam has a pretty Radical idle which I Love, and pulls like a Freight Train above 3000 rpm's. With your setup, A4 with 3200 stall and 3.73 you probably won't feel to much if any low rpm surge, I feel it slighly with the 3.42's, but I'm in a Vette with a Yank SS 3600 so I don't know if that makes a difference. I'll be going to 3.73's myself soon.
Car is down right now, been down for about a 5-6 weeks, installing Dart 225's and FAST 90/90. I've been been away sorting out a new business venture, which has kept me way to busy.
Loved the car Cam only, can't wait to see what it 's gunna feel like with the heads and FAST.
Numbers in sig
John
