What would you do with $500.00
If you had $500.00 bucks what would you do to your car with the money? I have all the free mods, 160 thermostat, air induction lid, bellows, K&N filter, ported MAF, FRA, C.A.G.S. Eliminator, Harlan Shift Light, TB Bypass, SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust. It's a 2000 Camaro SS. Help me out. Thanks

Either save up a little more and get headers and ORY, or get an LS6 intake.

Save just a tad more and get LS1 Edit, if you plan on doing major mods it'll be worth it.
If not put it towards exhaust, sounding good is jsut as important as looking good.

I was in the same boat starting out stock with a 98' SS 6-speed and wanted to mod. I gutted the cats with rear O2 sims, a flowmaster 80 series muffler with modifications, ported throttle body with 100% opening, descreened the MAF, SLP lid with smooth bellow, cut squares out of the radiator support under the airbox lid, K&N filter (of course), and hammered down at 12.8 in the quarter. If anything, gut the cats man, it really wakes that bitch up!

All ya'll info is great but, I never thought everyone would be so different. I thought I would see the same suggestion over and over again. This is making me even more confused.

Throw a really big party with two kegs and tons of liquor invite as many women as possible and hook up with at least 3 different women and hopefully have a threesome...at least thats what I would do with 500 bucks...either that or get a predator and a couple cases of beer

Unless i'm blind, im surprised no one said "well what do you intend to do with the car..."
And i don't mean what do you intend to add, i mean what is your goal with the car? What do you want from it? Do you want to just do appearnce? Do you plan on having it a track car? You have to have goals, if you a setting it up for drag racing than everything everyone mentioned is crap, if just driving around aimlessely maybe some appearnce mods, you have to be more specific than you can be PROPERLY helped before you waste money on stupid **** like torque arms and lower control arms.
If you have no idea what you want to do with the car i suggest you get a new hobby because buying expensive car parts for just the sake of buying them and accumlating parts like a pack rat to brag to your friends the list of crap you have or have a really l33t0 signature is just ignorant.

Re: What would you do with $500.00
I would like to have the car run mid 11's in the 1/4 mile and still used it as a some what daily driver. Of course I want it to look good but not into all the appearence xtra's. I would like to add SFC and lowering springs for some handleing improvments, however I really do not know what to do first. Thanks
