looks good, i toyed with mine for a while and realized that the teeth are so big on the gears, even if it looks very slightly off, its all good.

if the dot on the crank gear is at 12:00 then #1 is at TDC

Exactly! The only time you would need to double check this is if the motor was newly rebuilt or something and the crank gear was removed..
