Default New LS1 Induction for F-bodies!

Texas Speed & Performance is proud to introduce our newly-designed LS1 induction lid! It takes the design of LS1 air induction lids a step further than those offered by the competition. I have links posted below that show our new lid next to one of our old-style lids. If you've ever looked at a dirty air filter with an old-style lid in place, you'll see that the back corners of the lid are pretty much useless. Air is primarily pulled through the center of the air filter. With our newly-designed air induction lid, air is better funneled into the MAF sensor. The base of the neck is over 1" wider than our old design. The better funneling of our new lid can easily be seen when looking at the inside of it next to the inside of our old lid. This new design equates to more air flow which leads to more horsepower!

Our new TSP induction lid will be offered in black, clear, clear smoked, and carbon fiber. Chrome will be available later on down the road, but it will first be tested before being offered to the public. We don't want to pass off the R&D to our customers! The black lids are ready to ship immediately, and the clear, clear smoked, and carbon fiber will be ready shortly.

We will offer an introductory special on the new TSP induction lids. The black lids will be $89.99, and the other colors will be $129.99. I will announce next week how much longer the new lids will be on special. We will be bringing some with us to the LS1Tech.com Spring Break Shootout, too (which has been rescheduled for April 6th!). You can add a K&N breather for the 2001+ f-bodies for $15.99 and a K&N replacement filter for $52.99. An optional K&N filter cleaning kit is available for $10.95.

Feel free to e-mail or call me if you have any questions or would like to get one on order. FYI, our web page will be up and running in the next 10 days.

Thanks!

Trevor - Texas Speed & Performance

Do you have any dyno and/or track results of this lid over the other lids?

hrmmmm... would make a good b-day present to myself. I'll be at the shootout on the 9th. Make sure you throw an extra smoked clear in for me. this is to replace my cracked Direct-Flo

No offense...But, does it come with your HUGE logo on it? If not, I would be in for one.

Looks nice, concept seems logical too. Untill I see some dyno #'s, I see no reason to switch.

At least 4-5hp over traditional lids i guess for me to switch.

If it doesn't crack at the seam when you attach the MAF like the whisper does then I might just do some business with you. Any problems with this so far?

xssive - I sent mail back to you.

Ackattack - We will have dyno results from this lid very shortly, and we will compare them to two other aftermarket lids currently offered.

phatkat - We are wanting to see how the chrome stands up to keeping its finish. We aren't expecting any problems with them, but we always want to be the first know about any possible problems with products we sell.

Dr Debacle - We will have plenty of them with us at the shootout, so just stop by to pick one up!

MOBE - No, they all do not come with our HUGE logo on them. We actually use a smaller decal on the black ones, and the clear, clear smoke, and carbon fiber will only get a decal if the purchaser requests.

Y2K2LS1 - I agree; that only makes sense. Again, we will have dyno numbers very soon.

99ZEOD - No, we do not have any problems with cracking whatsoever. We will stand behind our lids, so if you have a problem with one we will replace it at no charge.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Trevor

Also, the neck of our lid is wider at the base to aid in the funneling of air into the engine. Our lid is specifically designed to funnel more air into the engine while reducing air turbulence that can be created in the sharp-edged rear corners of other lids.

I hope this answers your question.

Looks real nice. I have a Direct Flow lid and if dyno testing proves yours to be better I'll buy one. Are you going to dyno back to back with one of these?

Okay, here's a question I'm sure lots of people want to ask, how does this lid compare to the Stealth Monster Gopher Swallower. As in lid
