I did a clean up on the casting part of throttle body. If you port or polish anything in the already machined part, I think you are going to have idle issues.

Thanks for the reply....I'm hearing about an off idle "flat spot" attributed to the "hump" in the casting and looking for some input. I appreciate your help.

Not to be a jerk but it is a lot of work for little gain.

I have done other peoples' TB by request. (friends) Starting with a dremel, rough sandpaper, smooth sandpaper, wadding polish, and finally a very fine polish with a rag. Comes out like a mirror but does little from a performance standpoint. Just don't mess with the backside and make a smooth ramp up to the butterfly.

Which bump are you refering to ?? By looking at it I would assume, that you are refering to the area behind the blade on the bottom inner surface ?? If thats the case, I may try to flatten the area out a little
