Default Throttle Body??? inside

I need to know if anyone has dyno'd a larger CID (stroker) motor with a factory throttle body and with a larger aftermarket or ported one?

How much power is there to be gained and what options are out there? Inquiring minds want to know.

Can't quote any numbers here but:

the stock 700cfm TB is not enough for a 400rwhp car let alone one pushing 500rwhp.

For example a 950cfm carb on a 580hp engine is worth 10-15hp over a 750cfm carb.

So a good 900cfm ported throttle body will get worth about that, and since the f-body also benefits from the throttle stop mod it could be a little more.

One like this flows 900cfm:

Porting gets another 200cfm out of one Leaves alot to be desired from the stocker huh.

Did I read somewhere else that the opening in the intake is also a problem because it matches the opening size on the Throttle body? i think that I need more air to help my motor which is saying GIVE ME MORE

Yeah the intake opening is only a little over 75.5mm. So a ported stocker is the way to go.

Around 89 degrees and so many OHMS whatever for sensors on the throttle body. This is a little out of my league, but this is my understanding. Cheers.
