F1 procharger????
I found a f1 kit for sale and Was all ready to buy it untill I did a search and saw not too many people are making killer numbers with a procharger set-up. Its going to be a
-low CR 408
-Dart 240cc Heads 350I 290E .600
-F1 kit w/ twin intercoolers
-Blower cam
-Open exhaust
-fuel modifications needed
I would like to get 1000RWHP out of this set-up is there anything I should change to achieve my goals? Will I need a FMIC? or should I go with no intercoolers and do meth?
*edit* Will the stock MAF and MAP be sufficient, or are there alternatives that I should be looking into?

Definately keep the Intercoolers or go to a single front mount. I am not sure the F1 blower will get you there. How much Compression are we talking on the motor? 9.0:1 or so?
I am hoping for 850+ on my F1C blower/408 setup I am building right now.

you found a kit for the f1? Not to change the subject but is this something a shop is making?
Not sure if you can get 1000rwhp with pump gas. Wll probably need to increase the C.R. a bit to gt a bit more out of it but if 1000rwhp is your mark, youmight need to go into the F2 arena. Now, 850rwhp is enough to get you well into the low 10's, high-mid 9's, depending on car's setup so it could be a good start.

i could of sprayed my old setup, 408ci making 460rwhp to the tires, stalled, unlocked, and would of made that or a high 10 with about 500 more lbs. than you, but, what fun is in that? Cheap times, and that is not my bread and butter.

There are several guys in the 9 second range with 6xx rwhp, although I think they might be a little lighter weight-wise. 850 rwhp might get you there, but at that weight you'd probably need to be in the 9xx area. Is this going to be a race car? If so, why not just lighten it?
