Default 02 T/A M6 Vs. Stage 3R SRT-4

Well, I went to go hang out with all the SRT guys. I meet my friend at his house to go cruise up to the spot.

His car is an 03 SRT-4 Stage 3 w/toys, 3in TBE, 02 housing, psi-fi CAI, solid motor mounts, ipp coilovers, 60mm TB, cca BFMIC.

I am 02 T/A M6 with mods in sig, as far as I know. This race has got me thinking.

I am now following him we are making a right, he goes and I follow. He nails it, and do the same. I was expecting a big and fast gap he was going to put on me. But nothing, stays steady through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then I shift into fourth, and let off. Then I was thinking, he prolly wasn't on HOM(High Octane Mode) good for about 40whp.

Well we get to the spot, I ask him. What'd ya think? He responded soemthing to the effect of impressive. I asked him if he was running race gas, he said yes, and was in HOM when he raced me and was holding it. He was running 23psi, just like he should. So no boost leak.

That run has now got us all thinking, either something is wrong with his car or something is done to my car I do not know. SRT-4's with stage 3 trap at about 116 from my experience with them at our track.

So all and all I am majorly impressed with my move back to the LS1.

CCA is a company, BFMIC = Big Front Mount Intercooler

TBE = Turbo back exhaust.

that would seem more probable than a ls1 trapping 116 with a lid and catback

lol 116 is some stout numbers, but look at it this way, you could still have a beast, (maybe has gears?) and the dodge isnt running right... plus you have to remember your on the street. is this guy running dr's? was he spinning? fwd isnt exactly known for its impressive traction.

The stock turbos arent large enough to push 20 psi much less 23.

Anything over 19psi isnt that effiecient for the stock turbo.

My stage 2 spiked 19-20psi and held 15 to redline.

His stage 3 holds more than 5 lbs more to redline.
