I had the intention of only replacing it when I have the car painted but that's nowhere near the budget right now. I've been looking at the ones on ebay that you can have painted and shipped for about 230 bucks but I'm worried about fitment issue's and the new paint matching up to my old paint.
Has anyone out there had any experience with the ones on ebay? If not, what's a shop going to charge for something like this?

There are other f-body parts salvage yards also. Couple of them are sponsors, ..., search them out in the sponsor page.
But good luck ever finding a Hugger Orange fender.

Here's the best shot of the chip that I have, it's somehow grown in the past year that I've had it and I suspect it's from someone's foot in a parking lot. As you can see it's right on the lip of the fender.

it doesn't look so bad, but if it bugs you so much: email the people who have bought from that ebayer, if they say they had fitment issues or paint not matching up, then buy a used one and get it painted, . . im in the same boat as you, i gotta huge crack on the drivers fender (thankfully not on the TA but my firebird) . . i already bought a used fender for like 70 bux, . . gonna get an estimate soon, . . . good luck
