Tint questions
for those with tinted F-body windows:
- How much did it cost?
- Is it something that I could attempt on my own?
- I have experience applying decals, so do the same principles apply?

1. i dont know i live in iceland and im shure that we dont have the same prices.
2. fbody's have realy hard rear windows to tint. but its possible to do if you are upt to it and if you can get decent tint films and they also have to be extra big if you dont. want to splice 2 films together. i recomend you try the side windows they shuldnt be to much problem and also if you **** someting up you can just remove what you did and have a pro do it.
3. same principles apply just remember to squeegee from the middle to the sides.

it's possible to do the side windows on your own but I honestly wouldn't touch fbody hatches with a 10 foot pole. Incredibly hard to do. Mine cost 250.00 for 5% all around but that was also with removing old tint + a lifetime warranty.

12 Pack Of Beer
My buddy hooked mine up for the price of a 12 pack. haha YEAH! 5% on the side windows. Never had a problem other than had to take it off 6 months later for tickets. 2 tint tickets totalling over $600 i just dont think it's worth it so i'm going back to 20%

i have 5% all around. i paid 85.00 lifetime warranty . its better that you pay someone like a shop so just in case it messes up you will just go back and have it redone again, if you do it yourself then if you mess up then you are gunna go through alot of film.

Costed me 150 for the sides and back to be done. I highly suggest NOT doing it yourself. I have a pro do my decals and even he has another guy to do tint (for expertise not lack of time).

They just made a big **** about the tint % law in Hobbs (N.M.).They bought a couple of these sensors they can slide onto your window that reads back how clear they are. The legal limit here is 25% and thats what i had put on the sides but they can only put the sensor over a rolled down side window so i went with 30 or 35 on the back. Theres also a clause in our local law that says that pre '97 cars are exempt. Since i cant pull that one i just tell them "i bought the car fom out of town recently and they were that dark to begin with, however i genuinely intend to have it reduced very soon sir." ... yea fu**ing right lol.

I just had my sides done 35% last Saturday (back was already done when I bought it 15%) Just the sides was $80 with a top of the line film...lifetime warranty. They did it while I waited; less than an hour. It would have been $89 for the back (one piece) if I needed it done.
