Nope, its a little too big.

I have a 16h x 25w x 3d in my car and there is a little room side to side, also it couldn't really be any taller.

Yeah I cut everything off the front, just the two frame rails are sticking forward now. All that sheet metal in the bottom is removed, I even cut the grey plastic that supports the bumper and removed the hood latch stuff.

Here are some pictures of my radiator mounting - you can see the custom support brackets on top and bottom of the radiator, top to support the plastic that was cut and bottom was added by my fabricator because he thought it would be a good idea.

What radiator is that! I have posted many times about radiators with little to no resonse. That seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

that one was custom order from Ron Davis and the fans are spal low profile dual pushers 2500cfm fit perfect between the griffin and radiator.

If you happen to order a radiator make sure they don't put tabs on the front of it if your running a pusher because the fan blades will hit it. I had to have my local fabricator remove them and weld a new piece of aluminum in there.

If I can get one like that I'll be using puller fans if not stock ones. What are the deminsions of that radiator?

Stock ones would not fit 2 fans side by side, and dimensions are posted above and in my mod list near the bottom

When we were driving it around for the few hours before I killed my new turbos it was fine, 145 on the freeway in high 90 degree weather.

This is the one that is going on my car
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...hItemId=377320
with the "be cool" dual 11 in fans that pull 2700+ cfm, should do well.

Is there any way to get a diff radiator/a/c to stand them both straight up, without cutting any of the bracing?

LT1 rads have a wider core.

The 93-96 rad was 1.3" thick.
The 1997 LT1 rad was 1" thick.
The 98-02 rad was only 0.8" thick. (I imagine the aluminum block raditates heat a bit better than the LT1's iron block did... maybe that's how they went so skinny).

The key with radiator and heat exchangers in general is that increasing the core SURFACE area is way more efficient than making the core thicker the same amount. Thicker cores reduce airflow more, and the extra back part is getting hot air anyway so the delta-temp is smaller... resulting in less efficent heat exchange. Ideally you'd have a paper-thin core that's 20 feet square, but that's unrealistic when packaging and coolant tube design comes into play.

I belive a couple radiator companies have done testing and found that cores more than 2" thick were pointless for this reason.

There's some good literature out there if you want to look into it. Check out web sites for Griffen, BE COOL, Fluidyne, Gates, Stant, AC Delco, etc... for starters.
