Default cam install help

i'm gathering parts for a cam install is this what i need to replace(link). is it timing chain and gears or just the chain.

The LS2 chain is what to go with.

Don't forget retainers, pushrods, springs and possibly oil pump.

yep go with the LS2 chain. bu what you linked to at SDPC is just a chain.

Does everybody usually just replace the chain, or the gears and chain??? Does the LS2 chain fit on the LS1 stock gears???

How big of a pain is it to change the crank sprocket??

It's not that bad at all to change. The puller I rented was a tad big for the application but I got it to work.

Yeah, it will. I just did the LS2 chain on my stock ones. The chain is just a bit thicker.
