Took mine off to replace with stainless - never understood why Pontiac made them the sames as the body color, could not see them unless you were practically on top of them
I used a hair dryer to warm them up a bit and then some fishing line(wrapped around finger on each hand) to run behind them - back and forth....... saw that trick on here some time ago

But as stated, hair dryer and fishing line will get them off real easy. That's how I took mine off and replaced them with silver. Some Goo Gone will get rid of the remaining adhesive.

I took mine off after I removed the side moldings. It just did not look right to me, having the trans am badge sticking so far out. So I bought the trans am overlays, at put them directly on the door themselves. It was a pita to get them to line up right, but with a help of a friend it came out great. It seems like a much cleaner look. Here are a few pics, I have of it.
And here is what it looks like with no moldings and badges

You must be talking about muffinbuster on here he is dragonz28. Its not much when you realize it will last forever and is great quality. I'm pretty sure he doesn't make much off of us and does it more of a hobby than a business. Many people on here are glad to pay that price for quality. Not trying to sound like an *** just explaining that that is the best price for what you get. Order it and see for yourself and then you'll understand. He has too many fans waiting for his next product to not do good work and good service.
