Trailblazer SS turbocharged...
my friend's truck is complete, we customized a kit for another vehicle, runs awsome, spools instantly and has plenty of *****..here's a link to some pics (R&D vehicle, he wants to build a kit at some point and sell it so this isn't really the "finished" product)
this might be the first TBSS turbo around? no a couple others are in the process but this one is Running.. drove it 35 miles home from the shop (at 4:30am ) at 75-80, purred, 18-19mpg as well not bad for the 4.10 axle spools instantly..
ground clearance is 6.5" boost pipe & intercooler is 8.5" at their lowest points, never comes close to the ground, curbs, driveways etc...
anyway, just thought i'd post this here for all to checkout, the vids were done on the way home, mostly for the audio..

FYI did a little data logging . IAT's never went over 115 . Ambient temps where 90-92 degrees . Took a 100 mile drive with wife and daughter [ got into some boost but mostly like your driving with wife and kid] Got 15.9 mpg with a mix of driving , Just like before turbo . Noise is reasonable wife says she hears a whistle . but not all the time . Boost gauge shows 4-5 psi by 2700 rpm . Not bad for a 5.5 psi spring with all of the pipe and intercooler . Did a small boost launch easily built 3-4psi in Drive with stock converter

Very nice! Love the spool. Nice and quiet puttin around town but angry when its WOT. An ls2 with just 5psi I'd imagine somewhere around 450rwhp. Sounds like youve got an easy 12 sec TB on your hands.

Do you plan on driving this in the rain? Just an observation... not trying to start anything. Gotta say that nowadays since some people can be very touchy on the internet these days.

congrates...
I was in a debate to either drop the V and swap it for a TBSS but in the end, i wasn't getting a good deal, IMO. Good, solid truck and quick as well.
Well, it seem as its more then quick right now!!! You think the owner is done for a simple forged block to see what she can really do?
