bs aside though, youd have to have one mother ******* trick setup. think of like a cutout that would block air to the turbo (close the cutout) and would then allow air out the other pipe, aka to the back of the car, so each header would have to have a Y pipe if you will. not sure about air intake at that point. youd probably need a Y on the charge pipe going to the TB as well. one going to a filter, one goin to the intercooler. (this is all in theory) basically like a mamoth manual "wastegate" before anything.

in conclusion, no. unless you have a KIA motor in your 3rd gen engine bay.

and who the f' would wanna turn a turbo off? isnt that the point of spending all the money? haha

the only way it possibly would work is if you installed a flux capacitor to generate enough voltage to overcome the flow of exhaust,

Turbo's are load based, part throttle, your bypass can stay open, preventing boost. when you go deeper into the throttle, you will get boost.

Actually the Mad Max car was supercharged. Here is the actual Max Mad car. Right here in Naperville, Illinois. It belongs to the owner of Best in Show (classic car restorations). He does drive it as you can tell by the bugs on the front end.

is been done on a vw in a way on the intake side i believe. they have an s/c/turbo car
you eould havr to have 2 y-pipes on the exhaust side with cutouts and you could leave the intake as it sits.

Save money... Forge a 402/403 LS2 or a 408 LS1... Go with a badass Nitrous setup. 200-250shot.

Do you have any idea how crappy the car would run with the turbos "off". The tune and injectors would be WAY off. I cant believe I posted in this thread
