hi guys
iam a new member to this site and i need to find out some infomation from all you guys who are running tt on the street.iam runing a 383 sbc with a d&d t56 in a ford escort,now i got my self a pair of sc 61 turbos to fit on ,i did a serch on a couple of other forum, but i cant find out any info on these turbos is any one on here useing these turbos ,i would like to know what they are like to drive on the street ,when do they start to make boost ,my aim is to make between 700/800 rwhp i,know that sound a lot for the street but this will also see some strip work my concern is how will they perform on the street will they be too lagy iam also thinking of using a 100 shot of nos if needed any infomation will be greatly appreaceated
my present combo is
383 4 bolt block
dart iron eagle heads
crower 5.7 rods
scat crank
rooler cam{cam moation}solid
750 d/p
this combo went 11.6@125 on road tyres no nos

my new combo will be


8:5:1 compression
ross or je piston

tt sc 61s
fast b2b
tal 50 mm bov
pair of racegate waste gates
custom air 2 air i/c
automotiv fuel pump
not shure on wat injectors to use for 700/800
any one

THat thing should spool VERY fast with the twin T61's. I think the setup is going to be sick fast. What AR on the turbos? Have you considered swapping to alum heads?

When you make a new post click on add attachments (scroll down). Find the file on your computer and upload it. They should appear in your post.

I'd run 83 or 95 lb injectors. How light is the car?

no not the tt just getting ready to tear it down for the build but iam undecided weather to keep the t56 or go th400 auto need some input

I'd run 96's, but 83's work.

With the T400 you can spend more time steering than shifting.

hi andy been toying with the tt set up for a little while now just to make the car a bit less noiseyso i can go out in the mornings with out wakeing up the whole street if you now wat i,mean how is your ride andy, up and running i guess,

i know what you mean about the noise..lol
car was up and running... it's bloody quick,first pass was an 8.6 @ 175mph.... i have oiling issues that need a dry sump(gulp),back out for the euro finals and start mapping at over 15psi.......then it should be fookin quick..lol Don't worry about your combo,Jon's on the case and it'll be sorted....
