Default help with my 95 Formula tranny....

i have a 95 formula..and the tranny is shot.. i was looking for a used one from some local salvage yards and was told my tranny is 1995 specific???? so im wondering..is this true? if so..does the used one need to be from another 95? and...does anyone know where i could hunt down a used one...

What you heard is true about the 95 units is true. If there is something we can do give us a call anytime. Vince.

The 700r4 does go right in. Some things you have to consider though is you are foregoing your computer shift. So now instead of the PCM deciding on shift points, weights and springs in the governor will now do that and might not be where you want them. Your PCM might need to be reflashed to avoid tranny DTCs. Your speed sensor will plug right in if you reuse your tailshaft. You will also need to pickup a 1993 throttle bracket for the kickdown/TV cable. I went 700r4 and now I kinda regret it. If you want to go 700r4, PM me and I'll swap you harnesses. I'm really considering going 4l60e.

Forgot to add you will need to add an aftermarket lockup control like the B&M.
