Default What would the best exhaust option for me be?

hey guys i have a 02 ws6 that i am almost done building a 455 ci ls1 for it. the motor should have about 650 hp to the flywheel and now i am to the point of picking out my exhaust, but i am not sure of what to go with. I want to put true duals on it, but i also want the exhaust to come out in the back of the factory spots, so i would either have to go under/over the axle. i was looking at the bassani true dual setup but thats only 2.5 inch pipes and i read that if i have over 500 hp i should go with 3". The car will be at stock ride height. I will have kooks 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8" headers and slp 3" high flow cats. Are there any other companies out there that make a 3" true dual out the back. Please help
Thanks for your time
Jon

Just put an adjustable Borla on it and be done with it. I am pushing close to your FHP goal with the Borla and it does the job very well.

Bassani is the only out the back kit for our cars. The other kits are just dumps that you will have to get welded up to go out back. Bolt-on out the back kits just don't exist for our cars. And yeah, don't settle for less than 3" pipes for that setup.

If you're already spending all that money on a badass motor, spend a little more and have a good shop fab you up a custom dual system out the back.....no other option IMO . You're almost done....don't shortchange the details!!!

Nice wet sleeved setup....

You can get a set of duals fabbed for it no problem. Just finding the right person and price is the tough part. TheBlurLS1 is trying to sell his. They go all the way out the back. really nice setup. Let me go and find you the link.

Custom 3" true duals out the back with Flowmaster 1 chambers on your 455 would sound unreal.

I'd personally hunt you down if you went that route and didn't post a sound clip.

local hot rod shop..Called Mopac Auto Parts.....Western Canada's largest outlet....they have probably 30 different tips on the shelves, as well as getting any tips known to man from all the other makers...these are actually a small production run from Magnaflow back in 2002 or so....got lucky...these are also 'upraised' in the last 2 1/2" or so...if you stand at the back of the car..say 2-3 feet back, they launch exhaust into your face... You are only about the 100th person to ask me where to get them/or would I sell them..never seen any others quite like them...
