The hawk hasn't been in the rain Not sure what you are asking, but the 2002 transam that I just sold had the problems with the turn signal problems, from rain and washing.

Oh crap that sucks. I personally dont have one, I have an LS1, but I'd think you'd be able to drive a properly-working LT1 in the rain. I'd get it checked out i think theres something wrong

I had an LT1 (96 Formula) for 2 years as a DD, never had a problem in the rain. Somehow I think GM built them to handle rain.

drive it in the rain all the time. just be a tad bit more careful. ppl who say they are impossible to drive in the rain cause of traction are just bad drivers(unless they are runnin some nice DRs)

My daily driver LT1/t56 Formula has 133k miles and it's still a low rpm torque monster. I've got all the bolt ons like headers and roller rocker arms, but my milage is horrible. 165 miles per tank.

Never once had a problem with my optispark in it's entire life. I guess I'm the only person with that luck.

Wow.
Strange.

But see there was only one way to go in my case, and that was straight through a rather "flooded" intersection.

The water (from what I could tell as I sat on my hatch, waiting for someone to come help me) came up almost halfway above my tires...

That's not a rain problem.
That's a problem driving through a stream.

Puddles are not a problem.
Lakes are a problem.

Rain washes the car so you don't have to.
