Default oil pickup tube question

you guys think this dent in my oil pickup tube is an issue? this is the end that goes into the oil pump. it is only at the end and is very small, also it is not at all bent in the o ring area.

I think that you should be fine with it. How did it get bent though?

As mentioned, as long as the o-ring seat isn't out of round you shouldn't have any issues.

If it bothers you enough you might be able to get a conduit expander or a copper pipe expander from lowes or home depot.

they are not expensive replace it! Is it worth taking a chance of depriving your engine of oil and then it seizing up. I say replace it. whats 30 bucks

If your down that far, take the extra time out and change it, better safe than sorry, I always get burned when trying to cut corners.

Honeslty with the oil pressure thing and LS1's. I would probably spring for a new one and just turn that one into a drinking straw. Better safe than sorry.

well there are like 10 things that you can look at in a motor and be like "why dont i do that while im in here" result is you go way over budget.
