Default Props to Mike Brown...

Got to check out his CE again, and man, the combination is just outstanding. You look at this car, and just from looking at the engine you'd never guess it runs 8.5's. He's got a 91.5mm turbo under there, and the car is super clean. Plus Mike is a real nice guy and puts up with 25-30 questions from jamokes like me. I look forward to seeing what he runs with the bigger turbo.

Here, here! Mike is a top notch guy and has answered multiple questions of my own. Keep in mind, many of these questions he has answered for me can only come from personal experience, which I don't pay a dime for!! There are other people on this board in the same boat as Mike, they help with very little in return!

I tried to get the new set-up out of Mike, but he just wouldn't do it

Thanks to the people like Mike on this board!!

Mike and Steve are really great racers. They are always respectful of the other racers and never give anyone the cold shoulder. Really nice guys for sure.

Thanks everyone. We try to help out when we can with informing people of what we have ran and gone thru. Were have'n fun.

As far as the new setup goes. Some of the info is in my sig. Although I'm back to my old setup for the time being.
The new motor had alot of blow-by. Most of which we believed was caused by the #4 cylinder never firing. Long story but the short of it is that the coil driver went bad in the BS3 box. But just to give you an idea what were looking at when it goes back together. On radials It went 8.53 @ 163 on 7 cylinders. This was with the 91.5mm turbo and boost was falling off at the top of each gear. The 98mm will be going back in its place. New numbers and info coming before the end of the month.

The red Camaro and possibly something else will be out spring '07.

Thanks again.

How do you like the Midwest converter? I was planning on going with Neil Chance, but you're having such success with Midwest.

Midwest has been very good to us over the years. The converter we run in the TH210 is awesome. The more power we put to it the better it works. Very efficent and loads the motor like we need with a turbo setup. The one I run in my 4L80E is still on the loose side so I can get up on boost. But the large clutch allows me to lock it up on every pass. Which really pisses off the turbo. We couldn't be happier with what they have built us.

Hey Mark,
If we put seating in the trailers we could probably make back our entry fees plus some with our "pit crew". "CHURCH" chicks rock.
