im pretty convinced that i spun a bearing in my car. so now im doing a forged bottem end, in case i decide to spray or got FI. what are some good pistons, rods, crank, etc to go with? what should i be looking for and what should i be staying away from? and im going more cube and shooting for a 383

For a basic assembly the Eagle stuff really has been reliable. Check it, make sure it's correct (the same with ANY components) and you'll be fine.
If you're looking for the next level of components Callies Magnum cranks are quite nice, lighter weight, and relatively reasonable for what you get.
Pistons are all about brand preference... Everyone has one. With a good tune you won't break any of them, with a poor tune you'll break all of them.
