Post Report: Kumho ASX 275/40-17

Well, just kind of a FYI post for those who maybe searching.

I bought these because the Nitto 555Rs were on back order and then I never seemed to have the expendable income to go reorder the drag radials. Long story short, I have gotten many miles from these tires (+30k miles, including 25-30ish drag strip prep burnouts and 1 or 2 showing out on the street super duper burnouts) and was blessed with an amazing 1.94 60ft last weekend with only a mild smoky 'prep' burnout.

I also have Kumho ASX's although only had them about 2 weeks. I must say they handle and ride really great, much better in both aspects than the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's they replaced. I only have them on the front though, the rears still have some life in them.

Same tires I have and I've been very happy with them. I'll be getting some new wheels and am going with the 17 x 10.5's in the back. I need the Kuhmo's in a 285/40/17 and TireRack has them on backorder . I looked elsewhere but their price is $140 each and of the few places that carries them cant compare in price.
