Gain from 3.73s and longtubes
Thinking about finally putting some gears and longtubes/OR Pipe on my car. What's a realistic expectation of ET reduction with these? My car has run a best of 12.81 in horrible weather on street tires.

my car is not as fast as yours, but i gained a WHOLE lot with my 3.73s. i didn't make it to the track until after i got the gears, but i notice a big difference just from driving it. i've had some good races cuz of those gears.

My car went from 12.33 @ 115 to 11.89 @ 118 with just adding LG Pro LTs and a tune by THE MAN!!! I have not made any real pprogress in ETs by going from 342 to 390s but it has been hot as ***** down here. Come one fall!
BLUFF I say .4 in ET and 3 MPH?

gears dont add mph think about it...they are not a hp mod they are an et mod...they do not increase hp...obviously weather conditions were different. i mean you are saying if i add gears to my car it will mph 118mph , trust me on this one 3.23's to 3.73's will not gain 3mph
