Default Headlight Conversion question

I saw a guy that had headlights that looked like the new corvette lights. They didn't have any motorization. Does anyone know anything about a conversion kit or where I can look to find something like this?

Breathless is the brand. There happens to be one in the Parts for Sale Forum right now: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ght=breathless

Those headlights are very expensive new, somewhere around 1100.00ish. they do have a little flaw, they hold my hood up about 1" higher than it should be. but you can see what they look like on my car at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2449493

In my opinon if you do thid to our f-body your crazy the pop up head lights for me are what makes the f-body so appealing with the lemans tyep lights it looks more like a gran prix..it your car so take my opinion or leave it.

this is true, but with the pop up headlights being such a pain in the butt when they go out ( and it seems that they invariably will), it's easy to see why folks would be interested in a non-pop up style. you'd think with GM doing pop-up's since like, forever, they would have a better, more dependable system.

I just would like to see someone step up to the plate and make a conversion for a LT1 bird.

As for the quality of the headlight motors, they are good pieces, its just the nylon gear that sucks. and since the f-bodies werent making alot of money to begin with why would they go all out and have premium parts up there when a nylon gear and the other crappy parts work for a good while

I saw one where there were the bulbs kinda stuck out from some black plastic, I don't know if that's whay you were talking about. But I like how the bulbs are still behind the plastic like that. Granted, on ours it'd be two pieces.

Is this what you were talking about?
No offense to whoever owns this car, but I think it looks thrown together.
