Default Turbo Blazer Pics And Vid :d

thought yall might like to see it- about 5 monthes in the making-

still gotta fab up an exhaust but that wont take but an hour- just dumping it right now- and also need 2 get a 90degree fitting for the oil drain- aint driving much @ all right now

all work and install done bye yours truley.

i call it a mid mount- its right after the y-pipe- not like sts systems that are way the **** in the back of the car.

might paint it black when i put the grill on.......

its so friggen loud when your next to the truck though- all you hear is turbo so surprise isnt really a benefit to the rearmount set-ups

Nice blazer! What engine? I work with a guy that has 6.0 turbo blazer here in Springfield. It's a 76mm and ran an 11.5 a couple weeks ago at the track. It's not really a sleeper anymore, he's beat too many fast cars here in town.

lol just got the 4.3L-

wanna swap a 5.3L or 6.0 in it- its just that swap is a bitch......... for real........ i might just build the 4.3L up to support 500whp and be done

Is a 6.0 swap in these cars that much of a pain in the ***? I never really looked into that much when I had my 01 blazer....Always thought it would be cool though.

its not as bad as some but with the lack of parts in my posetion it would be a real bitch for me- but i would love 2 do it- im thinking of picking up a 5.3L or 6.0L 4l80e combo and build it then throw it in the blazer when i get the correct parts for it

Looks like fun! That oil drain worries me though, even with a 90 degree fitting it looks like it is still going to have to go back up a little. Or is it just the way the picture looks?

yes but i have a scavenging oil pump pumping the oil back into the pan- i know it looks like "OH ****" but no its fine

yup turning it up to 6psi 2moro get some in car acceleration vids- also got a run with a 2003 s2000 with exhaust 2moro- get that on vid

that's kick ***! i had an '03 S10 Zq-8 that had a 2/3 drop....it was totalled by a drunk driver, i probably woulda been down the same road as you if i had that as my toy still instead of my camaro!

can't wait for more vids!

As "mtb989s" stated ive got a 6.0 lq4 and a 76mm turbo On 7.5 psi it ran a 11.53 @ 115 so ill be curious to see yours scream!!!

WHOLY **** I GOTTA MEET YOU MAN- lol our truck are the friggen same except for minor difference's in power........front ends, height........... and ahhh yeah- but dude that is an awsome looking blazer-

what rearend are you running - i plan on going to a ford 8.8" with 3.42's, Mickey thompson D.R.'s, and a 3000stall torque converter- might be picking another 4.3L up for $400 this weekend- building it for 600whp


you got any engine shots? is yours a rearmount?
