Default Logitech bluetooth wiresless mouse, anyone have one? Need help.

I purchased a Logitech V270 bluetooth wireless mouse with my laptop and I'm having an issue. If I leave my computer and its not in use, the mouse won't work anymore. Its not a set time, sometimes its longer, sometimes its shorter. I just replaced the batteries thinking it was it, but wasn't it. I turn the mouse off then back on, still doesn't work. There's a reset button on the back of the mouse, but that doesn't help either. The only way I have figured out how to make it work again is to restart the computer, but that is getting old. Anyone experiencing this or know how to fix it other than restarting the computer?

look at your bluetooth connection on your laptop, disconnect the mouse connection and reconnect.

This is still an ongoing problem. I've fooled around with it and thought I had it, but doesn't seem to work for me anymore. This is what I did that worked the first few times, but doesn't anymore.

Opened My Bluetooth Places,
clicked on search for devices in range,
it would then pull up Bluetooth Travel Mouse,
right clicked it and chose properties,
it opened a small window and clicked on properties,
it opened another small window and clicked on the bluetooth tab,
clicked on the connect button,
tt opens up the Bluetooth Setup Wizard,
then I press the discover button on the bottom of my house,
then click next,
it then says bluetooth cannot search for devices.

Another approach I take is:

Open My Bluetooth Places,
click on search for devices in range,
right click on Bluetooth Travel Mouse,
disable it,
then search for devices in range again,
but then it says something about licenses.

So the only way I can figure out how to get it to work again is still to restart the computer.

Son of bitch!!!! I've had it with this damn mouse! What other benefits are there of having a bluetooth mouse other than not having to use up one of the USB ports? If nothing, then I'm getting rid of this piece of **** and getting a regular wiresless mouse. I don't know if my computer or mouse is defective, but I'll see if I can contact someone tomorrow.

Why not try contacting the manufacturers customer service people?

I plan to do that tomorrow as they're not open. I may end up getting a regular mouse anyway if the only benefit to having a bluetooth wiresless mouse is not taking up one of the USP ports. I have 4 with a hub that gives me 4 more.

Anyone know what other benefits there are to having a bluetooth mouse?
