Default clutch slipping

I had a spec 3 installed about 30k ago along with the drill mod to master and a new slave cylinder. My clutch will start to slip when i first take off or shift gears but then catches. Master or clutch going bad.

Could be:
1. Master
2. Slave
3. Clutch Disc is worn
4. Pressure Plate is worn
5. Transmission is slipping

But sounds like it just needs to be adjusted or gravity/bench bled.

See if it slips in 6th gear at low RPM and low speed full throttle. If it does then it's the pp, flywheel or clutch disc.

30k is quite along time if you race the car often, its probably just due for a replacement.

What C.J. said and dkifast87. Search around and you will see other peoples stuff crapping out on them waaayyyy sooner than that. Lots of factors to consider.

hmmm well there goes what i was thinking. Alot of times from what i understand if you dont get the flywheel machined down. Or replace it the clutch will slip alot sooner. You stated however you got a new one so im out of ideas

Oh yea, I got the spec 3+ and has worked great for me. I had to replace my stock clutch at 30k too. Which, at the time, I was pretty easy on the car. My car now has 550 to the wheels. However, I don't drag race at a track either. good luck.
