Default PRC 200cc Terminator Heads and TSP 228 Cam

I just ordered the PRC Terminator heads and TSP 228/228 .588 .588 LSA 112+2 cam. Has anyone done this combo and what number did you get with this? I hope this combo kicks butt and takes names. Please respond if you have this combe.

Sorry a strange 12 bolt and 4.11 gears as well; do you think that is too much gear for this combo or just right?

I don't recall reading any posts about that setup, and the heads are pretty new, so I doubt there are any numbers for that combo yet. The M6 people here swear by the 4.10/4.11 gears, so no, that probably isn't too much gear. Does "all the boltons" include u/d pulley, EWP, 90/90?

EDIT: Also, use the edit post button instead of replying. Thanks.

Well since you put it that way....here's my .02........:
It should be a VERY nice street setup, the small port heads and that cam go well together. What size combustion chamber? Have you figured out your compression (scr and dcr) #'s yet? They will really tell the tale.

It should be a good setup. The heads are theoretically great heads. But I hear that TSP has changed the CNC program since it was originally designed by a great head flow guy, so we'll see. There's not enough people with these on the car yet to post results I guess. But I'm interested to see how they do.

The design of the heads have been the same since day one.I don't think they changed them.

You should probably stop listening to whatever you heard... The port is exactly the port developed by one of the leading LS cylinder head wizards in the country! If you ever watch this thing flow next to the Lingenfelter 203cc cnc ported Edelbrock, you'd be stuned by how well it works!!

I am really excited about the whole thing; I will give you the dyno's when I get them in Nov. If they are as great as I have heard; people will be flocking all around to buy them.

As mentioned above the 228 cam will work really well with the smaller runner. The combo should make for a very streetable and powerful setup all through the rpm range. Out of the box, the terminators are hard to beat for the money!

Good. I know who designed them and yes, he's probably the best. I just know my friend at SAM that said that the CNC got changed. I dunno. All I know is I wanna see some real, normal results because the heads have MAJOR potential. I may end up ith some.

Zach has been really helpful through this whole process; he helped me choice the Heads and Cam Combo. I promise to give the Dyno Numbers as soon as I get them. I am sure everyone will want the heads as soon as I get numbers out. Hey Zach do you think that a FAST Intake and 90mm Throttle body will help at all? What else would you suggest; I also ordered a New adjustable timing chain. Would an EWP work better as well or new rolling rockers 1.75?

Thanks,

Mark

No on the 1.75 rockers. Stick with stock ratio.

Nope. My friend loves TSP and the heads. He is a student at SAM and has no agenda for telling me that. And why is it misinformation? Because TSP says so? Hello? That means their info is right and mine is wrong? Ummm okay. I just looked the info up last night and realized it was someone at SAM (where the CNC came from) and not a TSP member.

I politely presented the information as it is: I HEARD it. I presented it as a rumor and not fact, so please learn the difference and get a life. The mods can speak up to me if they have a beef. You aren't a mod. So quit being an internet tough guy and pretend - just pretend - that you have enough of a life to leave me alone. I'll guarantee you're not tough. If you were you'd get out of my biz.

I actually like TSP and buy my parts there most of the time. So get YOUR facts straight. Be a MAN and let's settle this in PMs so you can stop following me around tech like some kind of gay stalker.
