If you can find one and you have a functional hood...BGRA. Don't get me wrong, I love my SSRA. But, it's a Z28...so there wasn't an alternative. The only things I don't like about it are the fact that you have a handful of screws that you have to put through your bumper and the constant higher level of attention you have to give to water hazards. I think a better design would have been to create some kind of locking mechanism to hold the lower scoop to the upper scoop where they meet. A slightly different mold and a few peices of elastic could achieve this. Then, there's no more screws in the bumper with little added cost.

They have not made the BGRA for about a year now. You will likely have to find a used one some where, and they don't seem to come up often and are sold quick.
However, they are the best for a ram air car.

BGRA is best for a ram air car.. but the gaskets i always get SUCK. i haven't had a single gasket last me over 3 months in a while. Sometimes, i'll get the gasket and it will tear as soon as i put it on there..
Yes, i lube it well.

BGRA, I have one. Installs easy, high quality parts, and the best for a Ram Air hood. Proven performance booster. Seals everything up from the opening to the filter itself. Of course it's not made anymore, and I imagine it would take someone who can make plastic parts out of a mold to really duplicate it. It's more then just drilling out rivets and a gasket; it comes with funnel pieces for each Ram Air nostril, plugs for the holes, etc. The gasket does suck though, mine is ripped to shreds, with plenty of lubing. I think it would have done better dry.

Heh, like I said. You'll probably end up getting the SSRA just because there's not much chance of one coming up for sale. But you could check the parts for sale section often.

I think pretty hard. Keep a constant eye on eBay. You can even go to the BG site and buy the leftover pieces they have now, which isn't much, and assemble what you can. I'd also look around for cars for sale, junks and parts cars, see if you get real lucky and find one with a BGRA.
