this maybe a dumb question
how do u tell the difference between a ls1 intake and a ls6 intake ......i dont want to try to buy a ls6 intake a somebody try to screw me by selling me a ls1 intake

For a stock(ish) type car you'll see small results but nothing to shake a stick at. The ls6 intake will really start to shine once your mod list starts to increase...IE: bolt-ons/cam, etc

Some Vette's had LS1 intakes without EGR.
SLP also sells an LS6 intake with the EGR provision.
So it's hard to tell which it is when the intake is on the car.
And of course you can check the part number ...
