Time for a new Opti... which one?
I seriously don't want to have to deal with this **** again. I will be camming the car evntually, so I'm gonna need to get a good one that will hopefully not break =\ Search is not working(opti search pulled up 4 links), so what are you suggestions? I'm running a 94, daily driver, will be doing head/cam/nitrous.

I would also say msd. They are proven...
Now IF you can afford it.. I would stray away from the standard OPTi all together.... Go with a delteq set up.. The Delteq uses 4 Northstar/Cadillac ignition coils.. there is also another set up.. I really dont know much about it.. just read about it is all but it is the LTCC which uses 8 LS1 ignition coils...
If you can't afford that route.. just go with the MSD distrubitor and cap and rotor... Make sure you replace both at the same time.. other wise you will find your self replacing them both when the one not replaced goes out.. so that just means more money and doing the same job twice...
hope that helps a little....

Exactly what I was thinking. I personally went with a stock replacement. None of the aftermarket companies really have had time to prove theirs is any better. Not to mention mine lasted 154k. So I know it works.

i'd go back with the delco. Most go out after 100K and for a factory part that is used so much.....thats bang for the buck. Ed wright still trusts the the delco on his 500rwhp 10 second N/A T/A.
