Default need some help guys

ok my 96z has had an issue at 4500 and up.
first it was fuel, then the opti died. now i dont have a clue.
the inj. are running properly. the 02's,fine, i have an adj. msd opti. no matter where i set the set screw at, it still acts like its pulling timing away. although it not always doing it.
it only acts this way under wot. and it has new plug and wires. no codes to speak of. nothing. im lost, the scan tool that is being used doesnt read my knock sensor but it never has. so i thought maybe the pcm was seeing knock from some were.like an exhaust leak. but i unplugged the knock sensor, and stil has issues?
im lost.
the car feels like its having timing jerk out of it at any rpm from 4500 and up.
any ideas, please help the car hasnt ran right for about 5 mnths. and i can tdo my much needed turbo setup until the car is fixed

I dont think unplugging the knock sensor would help... if anything unplugging it would make it worse. I would think it would act just like the sensor went out, and put the ECU into a safe mode. Do you have LT1edit or anything else can read what the computer is doing?

if you have a cable that goes from the diagnostic port to a usb cable you can download a free version of a PCM reader from carputing.com I believe. Thats where I would start... does it have a miss or anything like that? Do you know anyone that has a MAF that you can borrow and see if that helps?

I know it sucks when **** ***** up and you cant figure it out.

sounds like an optispark issue, even though you said you have replaced it.....I'd call MSD.
