Thumbs up Solution for the ATI cooling impaired: Be Cool radiator pics

Big thanks to Steve at Performance Turbo Motorsports for the install. I went from the stock radiator to the Be Cool radiator PN 60028. I drove the car hard today with the a/c on, which with the old crappy stock radiator would have overheated. So far with this radiator the car did not overheat (with no other fans on either). This far the radiator seems like a winner.

The be-cool is a VERRY nice radiator replacement for the F-body, its much larger then the factory one too.

It took some work and patience to get it in there. But Steve made it happen (on a Sunday).

$500.00 bones for the M6 model. I bypassed the the tranny fluid lines to an external cooler.

I did not have any data logging before. I do know it would get close to the red real quick with the a/c on. Not anymore!

Are you still using the ATI fan? How much clearance do you have from the new radiator to the D-1SC head unit?

Yes I am still using the ATI fan. The clearance from the new radiator to the Procharger head unit is fine. Where everything is tight is on the inlet hat. No space left.
