Gain from Cat-back...a whopping .06
So the Hooker cat-back didn't give me **** at the track. Basically the same conditions as the most recent time I was there before I had it.
Hopefully that means the manifolds are way too restrictive and headers will wake it up a lot.

how much better could the 60' get? I mean a stall and 3.73's will be next spring/summer as well, but as of right now would suspension help at all? I don't spin at all with the 2.73's.

when the time comes for you to put in a stall...I'll have a 2800 Super Street Raptor verter to get rid of...it's only seen 5 passes at the track and no racing on the street so far...it will be good to get you well into the 13s with full bolt ons....

the problem with a stock stall and 2.73s is the gearing in the 4l60.
1st 3.06 ...on launch the car is not in the power band
2nd 1.63 ...pulls good but a little to much speration between 1-2
3rd 1.00 ...drops out of power band and does not have time to recover before end
The higher stall speed will help the car launch harder and keep the car in the sweet spot on the low end of the shifts. You will be surprised how much improvement you will get when adding a stall.
I raced a 99 Z28 w/my 01 WS6 he trapped 102.... I trapped 108. MY TA had the stock stall and his had a 3500. On the launch he ripped me a new one, but at the top of each gear I woulld pull, both of us would shift at about the same time, and he would stop my pull untill I could get back in the cars power band. Just a little example of what I was talking about.
As far a suspension....build the platform to support the power or your mod money will just go up in tire smoke.
