cool, 40 it is. Big Show, I wanted to clean up the dech surface a little maybe .010. Do I need to have the small squigly portion of the block milled a little too?

Small squigly, is that the industry term

Pretty sure you can go .060 since someone I just saw on here is running a 389 stroker. I think .040 is 385 and then .060 should be 389

well with a 3.750" cranck stroke and .30 over you can have a 383 and with a 3.875" crank stroke with the same bore its a 396 so what would it be with a .40 over and a 3.875 stroke. 400??

I got 389.6ci using Desktop Dyno with 4.000 bore and 3.875 stroke. 4.030 bore, same stroke is 395.4ci, and 4.060 is 401.3ci. If you can fit 400 pistons in a LT1 (4.125") then you get 414.3ci

Whats the 3.875 coming from? 6" Rods on the stroker crank?

6 inch rod not 6L's rod, sorry. Unless I am mistaken lol but I don't think so o_0 The difference is more stroke for more power.
