ok....is the plug gap different from the other plugs....not sayn you gapped it wrong, but did it get damaged etc?

has the car been making any kinda of noise that would betray a bent valve?

and did you a compression test on the surrounding cylinders?

Usually most engines are around 150-170 depending on the compression ratio. If you want to eliminate plug, wire, and coil, switch the plug with another cylinder...does the problem move or stay? then switch the wire...then the coil...if the problem still stays with the cylinder, you may have a sticking valve.

During a cranking compression test, most engines are around 125 to 160 psi. All cylinders should be within 20% of each other, the reading on the first puff should be atleast half of the the final reading.

What all have you checked?

Ouch! I'd say its bent a little! Over-rev your engine at one point? Time for some chromemoly pushrods...

I dunno, in a stock engine I don't mind my $20 pushrods being the weak link as opposed to replacing other (more expensive) pieces of the valvetrain...

That is a hell of a bend....good job How the heck does it even fit in the pushrod bore with a kink like that?

i am going to get some LS6 heads and a cam but not to sure what cam i wanna go with because i am pretty sure i wanna procharge it later on. For riht now i will drop the new push rod in and just drive it and i will make it a weekend project to do those things, right now i should save a littl emoney. I could get either the heads or cam right now but im just going to get them both togther at the same time, just tryin to save up for school and i wanna start buyin more stuf for my Turbo Regal. I really only bought the TA to be my daily driver so i could build the tr up hardcore but it looks like they are both gonna get built up pretty good. i knew id do this...oh well.
